Well, it happened. Last night I broke up with my partner of almost seven years. And I’m uncertain about how this NEXT BIT works. It had to happen. This’ll be better for everyone in the long-run.

The science fiction magazine Fantastic Adventures shows us a glimpse of life on other planets from their 1939-1940 issues. While the alien designs are quite strange, they are meant to illustrate the different conditions on each planet, like gravity and atmosphere. All the planets besides Earth are included, even Pluto, plus Io, one of Jupiter’s moons.

I know this is a horrible thing to say, and I know my parents are part of this generation, but still; I can’t wait for the baby boomers to finally die out. Once they’re gone, I like to think we’d be able to fix many of the problems they’ve created for the world, however I am an optimist and humans are pretty goddamn stupid. Chances are we’ll just follow in their mistakes and fuck up the world for future generations too.
